I had a moment yesterday whilst shooting a model and its rare in photography you get these as I am still and will always be growing my skills and knowledge its nice to embrace these moments. It was a overcast rainy day so there wasn't much sun to speak of. I decided to go in pretty tight for a headshot which is a great chance to check focus lighting etc. So I placed Nakita (the model) in a good spot and decided I was going to blur out the background and started shooting the light was okay butthe face wasnt popping out of the photo like I had hoped and eyes where a little dark, So I started to just move myself around Nakita and before i know it I was back to where i started still not having got the light that i wanted so I had to think a little outside the box and this is the moment I was talking about I looked up at the sky back at my model then decided my next approach would be to climb up on bench and shoot down and 1st shot I took skin was great eyes where popping, Nakita's response was it looks like u already edited it. Generally on a day of full sun a wouldn't have been able to do this but with the right conditions and light it was perfect solution for me I have attached the 2 photos both taken in succession from the same spot and same settings just one higher of the ground both unedited.
